With boosts:

- Elite Zone (3x on top): 1/85
- Shiny Charm (3x): 1/171
- Elite + Elite Zone + Shiny Charm: ~1/28
- Shiny Storm (10x): 1/51
- Elite + Elite Zone + Shiny Storm: ~1/8.5

EXPECTED ENCOUNTERS
To have a 50% chance of finding a shiny:
- No boosts: ~355 encounters
- Elite only: ~177 encounters
- Elite + Elite Zone: ~59 encounters
- Full boost stack: ~6 encounters

To have a 90% chance:
- No boosts: ~1,180 encounters
- Elite + Elite Zone: ~196 encounters

EFFICIENT HUNTING METHOD
1. Maximize your shiny boost (stack all available bonuses)
2. Go to a zone where the Pokemon you want spawns
3. Search rapidly — click SEARCH as fast as possible
4. Check the encounter card for the shiny sparkle
5. Only stop to battle if it's shiny (or a Pokemon you need)
6. Run from non-shiny encounters to save time

BEST HUNTING LOCATIONS
1. Elite Zone (highest shiny rate, all types)
2. Any zone during Shiny Boost events
3. Zones with the specific type you're hunting

WHEN TO USE ITEMS
- Shiny Charm: Good for casual hunting sessions

Keep count of your encounters! If you're 500+ encounters in without a shiny (at base rate), that's perfectly normal. RNG is RNG — some hunts are quick, others take thousands.
