GENERAL GYM STRATEGY
1. Check the Gym Leader's type specialty
2. Build a team with super-effective moves
3. Level your team to match or exceed the gym level
4. Bring Potions for healing mid-battle
5. Lead with your strongest counter

COUNTERS BY GYM TYPE

VS ROCK GYM
Use: Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Steel
Best picks: Your Water starter, any Grass type

VS WATER GYM
Use: Grass, Electric
Best picks: Bulbasaur/Ivysaur, Pikachu, any Electric type

VS ELECTRIC GYM
Use: Ground (immune to Electric!)
Best picks: Any Ground type — Diglett, Geodude, Sandshrew

VS GRASS GYM
Use: Fire, Ice, Flying, Poison, Bug
Best picks: Charmander line, any Fire or Flying type

VS FIRE GYM
