The Pokedex tracks every Pokemon you've caught. Here's how to complete it!

ACCESSING THE POKEDEX
Open the dock menu and go to Pokemon > Pokedex.

HOW THE POKEDEX WORKS
- Every Pokemon species you catch gets registered
- Caught Pokemon show full sprite, name, types, and stats
- Uncaught Pokemon appear as dark silhouettes with "???"
- Your completion percentage is tracked

COMPLETION BY REGION
Each region (Kanto through Galar) has its own set of Pokemon:
- Kanto: 151 Pokemon (Gen 1)
- Johto: 100 Pokemon (Gen 2)
- Hoenn: 135 Pokemon (Gen 3)
- Sinnoh: 107 Pokemon (Gen 4)
- Unova: 156 Pokemon (Gen 5)
- Kalos: 72 Pokemon (Gen 6)
- Alola: 88 Pokemon (Gen 7)
- Galar: 89 Pokemon (Gen 8)

HOW TO FIND MISSING POKEMON
1. Travel to the correct region for that generation
2. Visit different zones — each zone has specific types
3. Use the SEARCH button repeatedly to encounter different species
4. Some Pokemon are zone-exclusive (only appear in certain areas)
5. Use Radar items to increase rare encounter chances

RARE POKEMON STRATEGIES
- Legendary/Mythical: Use Radar items, Elite Zone, or special events
- Region-exclusive: Travel to the right region
- Type-exclusive: Visit the zone matching the Pokemon's type
- Evolution-only: Catch the pre-evolution and evolve it

TIPS
- Focus on one region at a time
- Write down which Pokemon you're missing
- Trade with other players for hard-to-find species
- Breed to get baby Pokemon
- Check the Pokedex regularly to track progress
